Manor New Tech High School was well represented at UT Austin last Friday.
Titan scholars gave their final presentations of the summer for the NASCENT Fellows program, a summer engineering research program designed for 10th-12th graders. Students were selected to join graduate and undergraduate students for seven weeks of laboratory research as Fellows. These teams attacked problems in nanomanufacturing and make significant contributions to ongoing projects.
Each student gave a final presentation of their results and gained valuable experience in research, engineering, and college life. The paid internship resulted in $2,000 per student for their participation.
